The GI Endoscopy RN provides care for the Veteran in a Gastroenterology Lab at the SLCVAMC. The Staff Nurse is a registered nurse who utilizes the nursing process to assess, coordinate, facilitate, and deliver nursing care to GI patients in the SLCVA System. The GI Endoscopy nurse cares for patients requiring inpatient or outpatient procedures for diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions and the administration of moderate sedation. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
