As the Senior CLS Supervisor, the primary duties are to coordinate and supervise all activities in the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing sections of the UCLA Santa Monica Laboratory. You will serve as a core member of the management team, along with the Laboratory Manager to provide oversight for operations. Primary duties include:

•Direct supervision of staff and daily operational activities
•Participate in 24/7 on call rotation
•Develop and maintain policies and procedures, oversee training and competency assessments, perform performance evaluations, liaison with clinical staff to evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, initiate corrective action and educate clinical staff. 
•Perform liaison functions with multidisciplinary groups at UCLA Laboratories and UCLA Clinics.
•Initiate and maintain process improvement activities with multidisciplinary groups to ensure optimal delivery of service that meet quality, cost efficiencies and customer service goals of UCLA Heath.
