This is a confidential search for a Clinic Lead Physician for a state of the art urgent care group headquartered in the Northeast. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Clinic Lead Physician will be the leader of one clinic and will be responsible for performing and promoting the company’s mission of providing exceptional care to its patients. In addition to fulfilling clinical shifts, the Clinic Lead Physician will have a broad range of input and leadership responsibilities. They will have the opportunity to lead a talented team, promote the culture of patient care, and will be responsible for representing the clinic in a proud and positive manner.
Key accountabilities include:
In addition to fulfilling a certain number of clinical hours per year, the Clinic Lead Physician will
Collaborate with the center manager to:
Establish and maintain local clinic needs
Establish and maintain an equitable schedule to cover all provider shifts
Coordinate and disseminate all clinical protocols and training modules to the staff at the clinic level
Collect and filter staff questions and concerns as they relate to corporate matters and bring them forward to the appropriate person or group
Help with recruitment, orientation and training of new staff members including providers who will work at the local clinic
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine, currently licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners, and Board certified in a specialty field of medicine.
Candidate must have clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or an ambulatory care setting.
Candidate must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment without compromising a high standard of patient care.
